Fellow Nigerians, Mahatma Ghandi in this remarkable quote said, “WE MUST BE THE CHANGE WE WANT TO SEE IN THE WORLD.”
Using the above quote as a parameter to drive home a message of change;
*If you desire good leadership, you can be an agent of good leadership by being a good leader yourself. That’s the change you want to see, agree or not?
*You hate corruption so much, hit on it; hit the nail on the head and become incorruptible. That’s the change you want to see, no story about it!
*You detest violence and war, be an advocate of peace. Make peace be still. Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called sons of God. That’s the change you want to see, no doubt about it!
*If you hate nepotism or favouritism, encourage a merit-system devoid of sentiment and prejudice, where, merit, integrity, credibility is appreciated, and, mediocrity is absent. You have just demonstrated the change you want to see, no beating about the bush!
*If you discover a decline in good governance or you are dissatisfied with the performance of a particular government (a non-responsive one as the case at hand) by a defaulting administrator who fails to address urgent and pressing politico-socio-economic issues, what do you do? Hold the bull by the horn and resist every form of bully and act of disdain which negates directive principles of State policy of the Nigerian 1999 constitution. This is not the time to wallow in a bearish market, we’ve had enough! A bullish market sounds better. Fellow Nigerians, make your vote count. Make it count against a bearish government, else, the bully will continue. And that’s the change you want to see, no joke about it!
